Lungo il Tevere is a summer-long arts and crafts fair held along the banks of Rome's River Tiber. It provides a bizarre mixture of things to see and do, including jazz, dance, cabaret, theatre, drag queen shows and more.
There are stalls on Italian regions and foreign cities, a film festival dedicated to a different movie star every year, photography, arts and crafts. There are also special exhibitions, from toys by some of the most prestigious manufacturing companies to paintings of World War II ...

The Estate Romana combines a colourful mix of entertainment, from jazz, rock and classical music to film, sport, theatre and children's fun. Around 150 events in the parks, squares, art galleries and around monuments fill Rome's balmy summer evenings.
Villa Celimontana and Piazza del Campidoglio are just two of the several venues that host concerts, while a Cabaret Festival is held on the Oppio Hill, next-door to the Colosseum. Open-air film screens are set up in Vittorio Emanuele Square, on the River Tiber Island and on the top of Gianicolo Hill in Trastevere.
