L’evento, ideato da Luca Maroni è giunto alla sua settima edizione. Dal 2005 ad oggi ha richiamato oltre 80.000 visitatori.
È l’evento più grande incentrato sul vino e le eccellenze enogastronomiche che si celebra in Italia, concepito ed organizzato da privati.
Il fulcro della manifestazione verterà su un percorso sensoriale che si svilupperà attraverso la scoperta delle ricchezze del patrimonio enogastronomico italiano di oltre 250 aziende vitivinicole italiane.
Un percorso espositivo innovativo giacchè indicizzato sia per territorio, sia secondo le caratteristiche sensoriali peculiari dei diversi vini.

The Estate Romana combines a colourful mix of entertainment, from jazz, rock and classical music to film, sport, theatre and children's fun. Around 150 events in the parks, squares, art galleries and around monuments fill Rome's balmy summer evenings.
Villa Celimontana and Piazza del Campidoglio are just two of the several venues that host concerts, while a Cabaret Festival is held on the Oppio Hill, next-door to the Colosseum. Open-air film screens are set up in Vittorio Emanuele Square, on the River Tiber Island and on the top of Gianicolo Hill in Trastevere.

Began in the Middle Ages, the Roman Carnival, however, saw its maximum splendour after the election of Pope Paul II, who, after the transfer of the papal residence at the Palazzo Venezia, moved to the historical centre, and in particular on via Lata (now Via del Corso ), most of the carnival celebrations.
The Commedia dell'arte,mask parades, Agonal Games, carnival floats, jousts and tournaments, the highly anticipated Berber horse races and the “moccoletti” attracted the entire population, but also pilgrims and curious people from around the world. With the arrival of the House of Savoy in Rome in 1870, the Carnival began to decline, especially because of the many incidents that occurred during the games and of the many people who were wounded...
